Author and Owner, Emma Roberts graduated with honors from Cambridge School of Culinary Arts and has enjoyed establishing long term relationships with clients over the past 20 years. She has emphasized innovation at Capers Catering and focuses on unique spins on classic dishes, event design and presentation.

 

 


kevin-marsland Kevin Marsland – Executive Chef

Kevin grew up on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard and started his culinary career at age 14 as a dish washer/ prep cook, and got hooked. After high school Kevin was fortunate enough to work for an award winning French chef that convinced him to go to culinary school at the CIA in Hyde Park, New York. Upon graduating he worked for 3 different Michelin rated chefs most notably Gerard Vie’ at the famed Trios Marches in Versailles France. After returning to Boston he has worked at multiple award winning restaurants and catering companies as a Sous Chef and Chef.

 

Chuck RayChuck Ray – General Manager
Chuck Ray began his tenure at Capers Catering in 1998 as a sales manager specializing in corporate event planning and design. Since 2006, Chuck has overseen all aspects of Capers internal operations as General Manager, as well as, facilitating corporate event work. Prior to Capers Catering, Chuck graduated from Northeastern University in 1991 with a BS in Exercise Physiology. Chuck is also an accomplished mixologist, winning The Improper Bonstonians most Beloved Bartender award in 2000.Chuck possesses a passion for food and beverages, and enjoys designing signature custom events.

 

Kristin O'ConnorKristin O’Connor – Catering Sales & Wedding Planner
Kristin started in the industry as a catering assistant at a top wedding venue in Beacon Hill; continuing on to coordinate Conventions & Catering Events at a prestigious downtown hotel. She has been with Capers for 3 years, working from start to finish with each bride and groom on creating menus and events that truly reflect their styles and personalities.

 

 

Kate MonteiroKate Monteiro – Catering Sales & Wedding Planner
Kate has been working at Capers for over a year. Her knowledge of the industry stems from working at different establishments including country clubs, hotels, restaurants, and elegant function facilities. She truly enjoys learning about each couple’s style and uses her creativity and experience to make their special day come to life.
